Making your own wreath is a great way to add a personal touch to any room. There are so many ways to make a unique wreath. Here is a diy on making an easy fabric wreath. I made this a wreath for my sister ,Adrienne, down in Texas. Enjoy!
Supplies Need:
- Fabric of your choosing - 1 yard is plenty
- Wreath frame - Styrofoam frame will work but for this type of wreath but you can also use a wire frame
- Hot glue gun
- Scissors
- Anything else you want to add to the wreath for decoration
Step 1:
Cut the fabric into strips about 1 1/2 to 2 inches wide (How much fabric you need depends on the dimensions of your frame). Take one strip and out a line of hot glue on the end.
Step 2:
Wrap the strips of fabric around the frame until it is completely covered.
Step 3:
Add any detail you want to the wreath. I made these tulle and organza flowers to the wreath (expect a diy soon on how to make these flowers) and I cut out the owls from my fabric to add for decoration.
